Have you been exploring many different places for inspiration for your function? Researched high and low – online and off. Visited wedding shows and Simcha fairs and every wedding magazine you could get your hands on?
Well now it is time to take all those favourite ideas and make your dream celebration a reality!
A great idea would be to take all those ideas and print them off, cut them out or write them down and then stick them onto a big Inspiration Board.
To help with how to do this, I have taken a couple of items that you will be considering to use on your special day and have combined them to show you how you can bring it all together …
I know this may seem like a very basic requirement, but there are decisions to be made! You will need to consider the length, colour and material and whether you want overlays, runners or neither. The reason to ask yourself these questions would be because not all venues can provide what you will need and this could result in outsourcing them, which would incur an additional charge.
Spandex chair covers
These are a great way to add a bit of elegance and pizzazz to your function. Some venues include chair covers in their packages, but it is also a good idea to get a quote from another supplier because they can be cheaper. Spandex are a cheaper alternative to linen but can also be used very effectively, as you can see in the photo!
One of my favourite centrepiece arrangements, they come in a variety of sizes and definitely add the wow factor. You can even bend the branches to any shape or angle. Alternatively they can be used as a memory tree to let your guests add messages onto it for you to keep as a memento.
Stainless-steel cutlery, linen napkins and champagne glasses
These may seem like a really small addition but having stainless-steel cutlery, linen napkins and champagne glasses will add a dash of sparkle to your table. Again, most wedding venues can include these in your package but don’t always offer it, so make sure to ask! If you don’t ask for the best you won’t get the best!
A room needs a bit of lighting to add that special touch. Most venues have lighting all around: spot lights, pin spots, dimmer switches but if it’s not enough, up lighters can create light and add that magical atmosphere to the room. They are available in a variety of different colours and are generally not expensive.
Now this little item, I really think is a hidden gem at many weddings. It is a round circle that is placed underneath the centrepiece and usually the guests don’t even know it is there. It makes every centrepiece shimmer and shine and creates that wow factor!
Looking at all these items individually does not seem really important or amazing but once you combine all the items together you end up with…..
A breathtaking reception room for your Special Day!
