My Rustic Countryside Wedding

Wedding reception marqueeThis was one of my most favourite weddings to arrange… a rustic countryside wedding.

It all started with a little photo on Pinterest of a twisted willow tree and transformed into a magical day…

We transformed a beautiful landscaped garden into the perfect setting for a romantic, rustic countryside adventure perfect for the bride and groom!
Petal C letters on lawn at ceremonyWe did not leave anything to chance 🙂

As the guests arrived to the ceremony they walked past pastel pink and white petals of the bride and groom’s initials  into a gorgeous marquee all dressed and ready for the ceremony. The chivari chairs had little flowers with pearls hanging over the edge and the bride and groom stood under a magical arch filled with flowers from tip to toe.

Floral swag on chairWhen the bride walked down the aisle she felt like a princess. Mission accomplished 🙂

Outdoor furniture and gorgeous lightingAfter the ceremony the guests had their welcome drinks on the lawn, chilled out on the garden furniture, while listening to background music and enjoyed a variety of outdoor games. We even had a bouncy castle for the kids.

Picnic area with fairylights 2Tree themed seating planMy favourite outdoor creation was a really romantic picnic area. We decorated it with cushions, throws, bunting, strings of fairy lights and lanterns filled with candles. So many of the guests took an opportuntity to get inside and take a photo or two.

We made a beautiful seating plan that completely fit the theme. A woodlands tree twisted branches and flowers and in between the table names in a natural brown colour.

Arch to marqueeThen it was time to enter the reception room. To get everyone into the magical woodlands mood we directed the guests down a white carpet pathway with twisted willow tree arches covered in flowers.

Along the path we had little logs displaying candles, pebbles and moss. It felt like walking into a magical forest filled with adventure…

Chill out lounge area in marqueeFinally the guests got to enter into the marquee. We made sure there was more then enough space for them to relax and unwind with another gorgeous indoor chill out lounge with soft furnishings.

When we did the reveal into the main room, I loved the look on the guests faces. They were blown away by the breathtaking centrepieces.

We even covered the table numbers with moss around the edges and gave each table a name of a park which meant so much to the the happy couple.

Bride and groomCombining this beautiful room with a fairylight ceiling, a menu that tantalised the taste buds and entertainment from a band and a DJ, the guests could not help themselves but stayed on the dance floor all night long…

Reception marquee with bandI was lucky enough snap a quick photo of the happy couple on the dance floor. It was the perfect moment, everything that a bride and groom can hope for!
